These are the lovely ladies I spent the weekend withat "Kirk Retreat"...Carol our hostess (top right hand corner pink shirt)...opened her second home to us, their farm, we arrived Friday after lunch and come home this afternoon (Sunday)....what a fantastic weekend we had...lots of laughs, fantastic food, nice refreshments, the best company and of course sewing....and just a few hours sleep....To all the beautiful ladies above, thankyou so much, and to you Carol....luv ya heaps, you are awesome....and to our Pat, hope you are feeling better, we all missed you yesterday.
This was one of my projects...."Sweet Janice", a Janelle Wind Pattern, kit purchased at Cottage On The Hill, Nundle.....I am so pleased with it, really happy with the ric-rac, and I have used Princess Martha's idea of securing the rick rack with colonial knots....
Looks fabulous with the tonal inner border, great idea to change from the stripe.
ReplyDeleteLove the colonial knots. Are they the same as french knots?
