Friday again......






Christmas in July swap organized by Linda and Stephanie....what a fantastic swap...I had the privileged of and was totally thrilled to be making something for Kymberly and this is what I made.....

Bird Brain Designs.....


When I received this pattern last week from Pat I couldn't wait to start...so this is the first of the four stitcheries..."Autumn"...this is first time I have used Perle thread on a stitchery, it is very nice to stitch with....the little spots on the stitchery is water, I had to go outside early this morning to take the photo and the bench was a little damp still....
have a fab day...

Shaggy finished with a little help from my boys..



Shaggy quilt is now finished, folded and ready to take around to Josh's home...... the boys decided they might like to help...put the quilt on the floor to take a photo..so what do the boys do sit on it....OK boys off...three times still looking at me.....OK try another spot on the recliner...Mummy this is the perfect spot thankyou says Ollie.....night Mummy.....

GDITC - Nundle March 2009....These are two of the projects from that fantastic weekend designed by Rosalie Quinlan...a caddy and needle case, I have finally completed the stitcheries and the fabric is cut read to piece them...I am hoping to get these completed next weekend.......it has been stitched in a variegated thread red/pink...just love using this thread...sorry about the photos very bleak weather we are having at the moment....enjoy your day.

Another fun swap.....





Christmas Ornie Swap...what a fun swap this one was, our on-line stitching group had its second swap....the first couple of photos are of the prezzie that I received from Helen, I just love the ornie thanks Helen it has a little spot hanging in my sewing room until the tree comes out in December..the second lot of photos are the ornies that I made for Sue...a Rosalie Quinlan Stitchery, she does design the most gorgeous stitcherys....overcast and a bit of rain today, I think it is time for a fluffy coffee and a bit of stitching.....

Any Day Spent Quilting Is A Good Day....





And there was more.....well I did win the jackpot...as well as my handmade gifts from Pat I also received all of these gorgeous goodies....chocolates, fabrics (my very first Honey Bun), a stitchery, now how did Pat know that I enjoyed a stitchery or two.....LOL.....and how true are the words on my Quilter's Jewels..."Any day spent quilting is a good day"......and the plaque "Merry Quilting"....Pat, from the bottom of my heart "thankyou".........wow ain't life grand......!!!!!!
