I have decided to stitch all the sayings on the back of my NPNT blocks....but I think it may be a huge job....just this little bit has taken a couple of hours....so should I continue???
We are have some fantastic rain today, it is just nice, steady soaking rain...yippee...!!!!
Can you believe it is Friday again, where did this week go...
If you do continue, this will be such a fabulous keepsake quilt. I can't imagine you not continuing the stitching -- as it looks so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHey Peg! Wow! That stitching may be taking you a little while, but it's time well spent, I think, as it looks FABULOUS!!! I love the rainbow effect that you've made - it just looks so cheerful and bright! Can't wait to see how it comes up finished. Oh - also loving your angel blocks that are progressing so well - well done!! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)
ReplyDeleteThe girls are right Peg - the stitching looks so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHi Peg
ReplyDeleteI also agree...the stitching is beautiful and I also love the rainbow thread. I thought about joining NPNT but don't think I have the time!! (when has that stopped me in the past!)
Isn't this rain just wonderful....great stitching weather....
I am off to Chookyblue country tomorrow.
Will catch up after the weekend.
Of course I am taking some stitching.....
take Care
Vanessa
yes it looks fabulous. I am rethinking mine all the time. How many strands did you use.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be priceless if you stitched all they sayings on the back.
ReplyDeleteYou just keep on ...it will be wonderful... I love the sayings more than the pictures... ;o)
ReplyDeleteSlow but steady wins the race. Your stitchery looks great. You are going to have a beautiful quilt when you are done.
ReplyDeleteWow! Great stitchings... love the rainbow colors.
ReplyDeleteThe border fabrics on your Angels are BE A U TI FUL! :D
Snap, it's raining here too - by the bucket load!! Friday does come around fast, but I'm glad it has arrived now that I'm home from work!
ReplyDeleteThe colours are really lovely and even though it's more work stitching the back, you'll be glad you did it when it's finished :0)
Oh Peg! It looks so fantastic! But I know.... I know how long it is going to take. I decided to do several blocks of the stitching for the FRONT of the quilt only.... I know I don't have the time to devote to it at this stage of my life, working full-time and all. But boy it sure is tempting after seeing yours!
ReplyDeleteI think you should continue and make it something you do in between so you don't have the thought that it takes so long.. it really is beautiful stitching!
ReplyDeleteThe stitching is lovely....really pretty. I'm with Kim...break it up a bit with other projects. I see you have joined Finn's NYE challenge...me too!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. Love the stitching, what's the rest of the saying? And it looks great in the rainbow floss, I too am wondering how many strands of floss you used. Though it may be time consuming, I agree with the others, you will be satisfied when it's comlete.
