that is such a pretty quilt...I have made a couple of shaggy quilts (one recently for Rhiannon) but the soft colours are fabulous....could this be a finish for you and a start for me..LOL....I have also finished a project and will post some pics tonight...couldn't get near the compy last nigh...Mark is writing reports and Neil was doing work....time to get my own laptop I think! LOL... I mentioned to you the other day about our similar tastes in music....I am hearing James Blunt while I write and was just listening to that very song in the car on the way to work...
Peg the end result is fantastic! I adore it...you have inspired me to start my own. I actually have a couple of charm packs from the simplicity range which I think might look good. Can you give me any tips to make it look as great as yours....??? Jo x
Hey Peg! Oooohh! What a great quilt to curl up under for winter - yep, freezing cold in Toowoomba the last few days so in search of warmth!! I'd say that quilt would look better in my lounge than yours, but since we've both got such brilliant taste, you wouldn't believe me! I guess I'll just have to make my own! Only problem is, I bought the flannels when I was in a 'country' decorating mode and have now shifted to the shabby chic colours! Hmmm, dillemma! Hope you're having a great week! Bear Hugs! That looks great. I'm new to quilting, can you tell me the following, please. I see that you clip all the seams and then wash it, does the washing give it that shaggy finish. I'm fascinated.
Peg it looks beautiful

ReplyDeleteI love it! Now I think I'm going to have to make a shaggy quilt of my own.
