I just love these little stitcheries....a free BOM by Gail Pan..A Christmas Wish....how generous of Gail to share this with us....What a difference in our weather today, last week it would have been 44 (celsius) and today not sure if it even got to 22....we had a huge storm in the early hours of this morning, so much thunder and lightning and lots of rain....it has been overcast and very windy all day...no swimming today...LOL.....off to have a shower to warm up and then into the jim jams and relax in front of the telly and do a bit more stitching.....
Peg I love your pretty spotty back ground fabric. These stitcheries are gorgeous aren't they!?!

The stitching is great! I am glad you had rain, you probably need it badly.
ReplyDeleteI like your background so much that I'm considering changing my blocks to something like it. I've not finished block one yet so I might as well.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous block!! I am so glad you had some rain and that the temperatures have dropped.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty stitchery!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference in weather being on the other side of the world makes. It is chilly here today, was below freezing last night of course.... in a couple of months, you will be leaving summer and heading into cool and comfortable temps, and we will be starting those hot, unbearable summer temps!
That is beautiful Peg! I should do that one too. Enjoy the week-end!
ReplyDeleteYour block lookd great Peg! I'm almost done with mine but not quite. Also, I was reading your post below and I'd like to send some things along. I know it will take a while to get from the US to Australia but I'd still like to help out if I can. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones and homes to this terrible tragedy.
ReplyDeleteLovely Block..Nice background fabric...

Love your block. You are ahead of me. I don't know if I am happy with my background either. Oh well..I could always make two!!!
ReplyDeleteAren't you getting them done quickly Peg, just love all the BOM's around lately. This looks gorgeous. The rain has been wonderful. You can thank me for that as I washed my car (TWICE). Have a great day at Club Quilt today, wish I was there but I have two boys to organise with work and TAFE again.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the Merry block. I finished mine today as well.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I am working on mine this week.
