Yesterday at Club Quilt I made a few blocks to send to Tracey from Oz Country Quilting Mum ... she is collecting blocks, which will be made into quilts for the Victorian Bush Fire victims...if you would like to help out please pop over and check out her blog.....very overcast day today looks like we could get a storm any minute.....
Your blocks are lovely! I can't believe how many you got made! Guess I really should learn to use the machine more.
ReplyDeletegosh peg, every single time you make a comment on the weather, i could swear you live right next to me! you describe my weather down pat! i know how far apart we are and i find it rather spooky. we are just about to have a beauty storm here, just ran out and grabbed the washing.
ReplyDeleteyour blocks look so pretty!

Lovely blocks and you made so many. It is really heart warming to see what quilters are donating. Hope you get a lot of rain without the storm.
ReplyDeletePretty! I just mailed Tracey 8 blocks. Looks like she's going to be able to make more than one quilt!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to see that the fire victims will have all sorts of syles and colours to choose from as many are older folk and will still love the styles and colours of seasons back. Cherrie
ReplyDeletePeg the blocks are lovely and I am sure will be well appreciated.
ReplyDeleteHave the fires stopped?
Your blocks are lovely. I know they will bring warmth and comfort to whomever receives them.
ReplyDeleteI like the color scheme--different blocks, same color combo
