Tuesday Treasures which has been going for several weeks now, and is hosted by the lovely Clare…… first off I must apologize, I think I should have done some dusting before I took these photos….LOL…..this is my collection of ‘depression glass’, I just love this old stuff…..I have been collecting the glass for about 8 years I guess….if this glass could talk imagine what it could tell us….

Pop over and see Clare and check out what she has on show today….

take care Peg….:>)

Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find another way. And don't pray when it rains if you don't pray when the sun shines.

  4. What a great collection. I often ponder what stories my older bits and pieces could tell. Owning things with a link to the past is very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Oh I love depression glass, as well as carnival glass. I have a heap of it but decided last year that I wouldn't buy any more due to lack of space so I just drooled when I saw yours! And drool is so bad for keyboards!!

  7. Those are great Peg - I never knew about depression glass until recently... it's very pretty inspite of what hardship it came from.... I am going to keep a look out for a piece

  11. Love the green depression glass. I have a few pieces but my love is the light green glass bottles of all shapes and sized. I have a few dark pieces friends gave me because they thought I when I said light green glass I was talking about any green glass. I took them and thanked them for them. I do display them too.
