Final Tuesday Treasure

 

Final Tuesday Treasure……..my boys ‘rock collection”….my Dad loved rocks…when I was a little girl our Sunday outing was collecting rocks for the rock garden Mum and Dad built at there home….the garden has paths, walls, bridges all built out of rocks……..so when my boys went over to Pops they always had so much fun going thru his rocks and finding little treasures…..so this is their little stash…..how unique are the rocks with the faces…..LOL…..

A big thank you to Clare for “Tuesday Treasure” it has been so much fun …..bringing back so many wonderful memories…

And I do have one more treasure…….and that is, all of you……”bloggers”…….thankyou so much for visiting and leaving such lovely comments ……

Tuesday Treasure…

Tuesday Treasures……I have not thought about my records for years and after seeing Teresa’s post last week…I had to go and find them…this is just a few and I mean just a few of my LP’s…….I loved music and still do….Back in 1976 I purchased my very own sound system…it was a Pioneer and I only got rid of it about 5 years ago….I paid a heap of money for it….and the bottom LP was the very first one I purchased after buying the sound system…..you know I still love most of this music….how sad it that…..

Tuesday Treasures - Tammy & Cindy

  

 

Please excuse my naked girls and dodgy photos….but these are my Tuesday Treasures……Meet Tammy (short hair, check out those eyes, scary….) and Cindy (cute lips)….well I have had these girls for as long as I can remember, I would have been maybe 3 or 4 …. So I guess they are both pushing 50……both girls need to visit the hair dresser I think….and maybe an outfit would be nice….!!!….

Tuesday Treasures…..a few years back I was big into making Teddies……this one is a little bit special, I finished this Ted the day my eldest son went off to Uni …….whenever I missed Luke, which was every day, (and still is every day) this little fellow was there for me to cuddle…..(the things mothers do)….…..I can remember when I trimmed his nose it took me hours….

Tuesday Treasures…..my  little collection of old sewing machines…..The first one covered with one or two nick knack's….LOL….purchased for me by number one son…number 2 found on EBay…number 3 purchased by number two son…..number 4 found on EBay…and I did show you my other one which was a previous Tuesday Treasure…..so I have 5 in total…….I love them all…

Tuesday Treasure and more on Nundle

 

 

 Tuesday Treasure……it is still in three pieces, but one day it will be re-assembled……this singer belonged to my DH’s grandmother…. it was living in a garden shed at his parents home…it had nails hammered into the top and it was in very bad shape……We were not sure if we could restore it at all, even Mr. W thought it was only good for the tip……but Mr. W. took it home and with lots of elbow grease and tender loving care he was able to bring it all back to life for me…..so this is another of our family treasures……..Clare will have a list on her blog of other treasures…..so pop over and have a look…

More Nundle shots…here we have Dale and our very special friend Norm who now lives with her daughter in Sydney..and that’s me at the back…..it was so nice to catch up with Norm again…..

the three wild ones in the back are Deb from Sydney (Norms daughter, in the middle) and Leanne (right) and Nicole (left) also from Gunnedah….Kath at the front and Norm at the back are enjoying Kerry’s lovely lunch.

Back to work today…….oh dear, is all I can say…..

Tuesday Treasure and B.G.

 

Tuesday Treasures….this is a true lost treasure…We have this cupboard were we keep all our recipe books, you know those ones you never clean out…. ….and  last year  I decided I needed to clean it out…and tucked down on one of the sides was this little folded up item and when I opened it, this is what I found….Made by my eldest son, age 4, what we think has happened was Luke make this at pre-school, bought it home and he and his Dad decided to hide it until Christmas time to give it to me….but….they both forgot about it and it did not surface until last year…..so this was my lost treasure…pop over and visit Clare to see what other treasures are being shown today.

It’s that time again……”Tuesday Treasure” - hosted by Clare, so pop over and see who else is playing the game…my treasure today is my signet ring…I think I was about 10 or maybe a little younger when I received this ring…I am sure it was for one of my birthdays….it has my initials engraved…P.A.R…..….just check out the shape of the ring….LOL…..

Another very generous blogger…..Bec (alias Kiddo)…sent this lovely kit to be used as a prize for OPAM……I think we may use this, as one of the July prizes……Bec thank you so very much you are just gorgeous…I am sure whoever receives this will be thrilled……….(hug, hug Kiddo.)…

My Tuesday Treasures……I am sure lots of you would have something like this displayed in your home….these are the pre-school Christmas gifts that my baby boys made for their mummy when they were in their first year at pre-school………tea pot stands……they are priceless to me…..

Please meet “Snow White” (note the hair)..she is my Tuesday Treasure….she is 47 years old…..I received this gorgeous doll for Christmas when I was 5 years old….she was, what was called, a walking doll..she is 30 inches tall so to a little 5 year old she would have been a very big doll…..this is her original outfit which my Mum had made for her…..

I hope you enjoyed meeting my Snow White……

Tuesday Treasures……hosted by Clare….this is my very first watch…this was my Christmas gift when I was about 7 or 8 and I am sure it was big on me then, as you never purchased anything that was the right size, everything you got back then you had to grow into…….LOL…the watch face is 1/2 inch…The brand is “White Star”?????….and the band measure 5 1/2 inches….I do remember I was not to get a watch until I could tell the time…..I wonder what everyone has on show today……

My Tuesday Treasure….

 

Tuesday Treasures (I know it is Wednesday) I am a day late….Clare is hosting this fun little event…this is going to stir up lots of memories I think…. thanks Clare……..So this is my first little treasure…..Her name is “Cupid” and she was given to my by my Great Grandma Hawley when I was born so this little girl is over 52 years old…….My great grandma passed away when I was still very little, so I do not remember her at all…..just check out her poor little fingers, I must have been a little hungry one day….LOL…and her grubby little hands……….so this is the first of my treasures…..why not pop over and sign up with Clare …..  

It has been so cold…..this is what has been greeting me the past few mornings…..”frost” and they have been huge……bring on the heat……
