I am thinking of making another one of these….Shaggy Quilt…I made this a couple of years ago for a gorgeous young lady who I worked with, miss her heaps, but we do stay in touch…..they are just so simple but so appealing…
Another blast form the past…..A shaggy bag made for a friend who was having a baby….
This was a shaggy quilt that I made for SSCS 2008……Chookyblue said we had to have a blog to play. (so pleased we had to)….that’s how “Happy In Quilting” came about…
Oh look…. another one…
Have a great day….
Take care Peg…:>)
Hi Peg,
ReplyDeleteYeah, I also like the look of these shaggy quilts and bags.
I've only made a couple in the past.
The thing I don't like about them-is all that cutting, I do get sore hands.
Hugs,
Anna

What a lovely selection of shaggies you have made, such a versatile technique. Love the cosy feel of a shaggy quilt.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Peg for your border inspiration - I've said it before, I know - love it and I hope to get the last two on my fairy quilt soon - there's so much I want to do!

Gotta love the 'shaggy' quilts! They all look fantastic... havent seen some of those older ranges for so long! The only thing with these quilts, it is very messy!
ReplyDeleteLuv your shaggy quilts Peg. I'm a huge fan of the patchwork squares sewn together...think thats what got me into craft initially!
