My last March finish this makes 8…I am very pleased with this…..now I won’t feel bad about starting some new projects on the weekend…LOL….this is another Red Delicious block made into anther table runner…

OPAM finishes…thank you so much for all the emails it does make the job for Kris and I so much easier …I will be blog hopping over the next day or so to see what you have all been up to…..winners for March will be announced in a couple of days…..wonder what is up for grabs this month in prizes…..Good luck everyone…in some parts of the world it is not the end of the month yet, so keep stitching……

A new quilt for Tarj…

     

The centre block was leftover from a quilt I had made a very long time ago….and I thought Tarj needed a new quilt for his bed …so here it is…..another OPAM finish and I think Tarj is very happy as well….(little Tarj does sleep inside, I thought the photo would be clearer out side)..

Wednesday…OMG…last day of March…where did that month go…

No longer just a block….

    

  I mentioned on the week end that I found some blocks…two very lonely Red Delicious blocks…..just lost the plot doing these, but any way I have turned them into table runners….this is the first completed one..I think it has turned out OK….so this is another completed OPAM for me…

Two finishes..one in the post

A little finish for me…….this pre printed stitchery was a gift from Liala …SSCS 2009…..I did stitch it a few months ago, so yesterday I finished it off….now it is a little doily for my bedroom…..thanks so much again Laila I really enjoyed doing this little stitchery….another one bites the dust…..

Can’t get any better…

Club Quilt day today, and it was a good day..….the girls have been very busy so please take a moment and maybe pop over for a bit of a visit at Club Quilt, they do have some awesome show and tell…..this is what I took along for morning tea today…Caramel Date Slice…….recipe by Kerry Swain taken from her new book “Dreaming of a White Christmas”….such a great book….we all need to have a copy of this….(I also splurged this week and purchased this new cake stand)

New project today for Club Quilt……it called out to me and said ‘you have to make me Peg’, so what else could I do, except start it……….I have decided to do this in wool and cotton… Hatched and Patched…. ”Henpecked”….

OPAMers we are getting near the end of the month again, thank you so much for all the emails letting us know of your finishes…but there are still a few days left to finish off a project or two..

Another table topper…..

It is a lovely day today, quite warm….worked for a few hours this morning…. and this afternoon I am finishing off some half done blocks…..I found these when I was putting my sewing room back in order after our boys visited…..I will show you all the completed projects when I have them finished……hope you get a chance to play on your machines or just sit and relax with some stitching..

And these are a few of my purchases at GDITC - my new found passion ‘wool’, all this fabric has been hand dyed by Anni’s husband Peter…. how gorgeous are they ……..can’t wait to start one of these patterns…..Oh..forgot I should be finishing not starting..LOL

Glasses Case

 

 

 

GDITC Project designed by Kerry Swain….Glasses Case…is now finished….we did a needle punch refresher course with Kerry, which was so good….lots of room for improvement with my needle punch, but, I am very keen to do another project.

So this will be another finish  for OPAM…must do a count of what I have completed so far I think I may be up to 4 or 5 projects…....how is every one else going….a week left, but I am sure we can still get a few more finishes in yet….what do you think?

The 5 year old kit…..

Well they sat on me, twisted my arm and made me do it…Chookyblue and Dale did this to me…can you believe I have had this kit for 5 years……....at GDITC (after being so inspired by Anni)… Chooky, Dale and I decided to challenge each other in doing this project, why not, I had everything…..if we have three people we can have more….so Chooky has set up a a blog….’stitch-a-long’……..so if you have been wanting to do this project and need a little bit of motivation pop over to Chookyblue’s blog and sign up…..so far we have about 20 signed up….our goal is to have Gardeners Journal completed by Jan 2011….so go on pop over and visit Chooky and add your name to the list..

So I have finished the first stitchery…the potting shed…and I have started number two….Look out Anni lots of show and tell next year…

How busy is everyone?…just not enough hours in the day, I have just finished doing 4 hours of work for one of my clients (book keeping)…and now I am going to head off to my sewing room, when my boys were home, I had to pack a lot of gear away so they had somewhere to sleep (how bold were they wanting a bed…LOL), and yes I had taken over two bedrooms but I can’t find a thing now and that bugs me…..so its clean up time….……Yesterday I showed you the gifts that I had received from Kylie for our online stitching group swap…and this is what I made for my partner Chookyblue…..Leanne Beasley design ….’Bedside Set’….I have done mine a little different, I added the wide ric rac to to the doily and I mounted the other stitchery to a canvas….had lots of fun with this….enjoy your day…
