OK what do you reckon.....I hope to get to the sewing machine later on today and finish this table runner.....(this is the last of my PIF's from last year, still have a little time up my sleeve, but I need to finish as I have signed up for one this year as well, more about that later)....do I go with version one....or version two...... I am going to add a small border first and then a slightly larger border, and then maybe bind in the first fabric on each version or thinking maybe a black...what do you think???
I like the SPOT fabric myself...the other one is blending into the other fabrics..just my Opinion...
ReplyDeleteLooks Great so far..
happy sewing
cheers
I like verson 2 with the spots best but what if you used one spot fabric and one of the other. I think both spots might be a bit too many. As for the binding...not sure I'd use black. I agree with Maree...just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteHey Peg! Hmmm ... the eternal question ... what borders will I put on!! Tee! Hee! Hee! I think I'd go with option one, as I like the way the stronger colours bring out the reds and greens in your squares, or maybe the lighter green spot for the inner border and the dark red from above as the outer border ... but since you always seem to pick just the right fabrics for your quilts, whatever combination you choose will be right!! Can't wait to see what you decide on! Bear Hugs! KRIS
ReplyDeleteI like option #1 too! Great job.
ReplyDeleteOption 1 from where I sit, although if I were there with you, I'd have to try the green dot as the inner border with strong red from option 1 as outer border. tee hee
ReplyDeleteConfused now?? LOL
Robyn xx
Really nice peg :D
ha ha I just read Kris' comment...lol
ReplyDeleteSo far it seems pretty even, I like #2. I like the brighter colors and I love the dots.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely spots for me - maybe 'cause I'm dottie!
ReplyDeleteHugs - Lurline♥
I love the spots, but I think Robyn & Kris are right ... green spots for the first border and red from #1 for border 2 :o).
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Joy :o)
I like version 2, the version 1 is very dark....kisses
ReplyDeleteI like the spot. I like the lighter look. Good luck
ReplyDeleteI like option 1. Of course, for me the more saturated a color is the more I like it!! Looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat ever you choose will be beautiful and the only one in the whole wide world like it. I love the stars;)
ReplyDeleteI would be the last to give you advice (not a very good quilter)
ReplyDeleteBut I do like it so far , great colours .
