A bit more Nundle....

This is my completed Leanne's House quilt and I was thrilled to have my photo taken with Leanne ( Not sure what I was thinking I have a bit of silly look on my face)...Both Dale and I had to go on stage to show off our quilts....I was lucky to have Leanne do a label on the back of my quilt for me....and these are the lovely name tags that Kerry made for all the ladies on the day ( the work Kerry had put into the day was just amazing) .....take care all.... OMG...OMG...OMG...

We are back.....Dale, Gai D and I have just arrived home from a fantastic weekend at Nundle...Kerry from Cottage on the Hill held a "Girls Day in the Country"..our tutors for this day were Leanne Beasley and Rosalie Quinlan (both pictured)...the lovely Chookyblue sent this photo to me and I am sure she will not care that I post this photo...that is me on my knee with some of my special blogging friends......Chookyblue, Janelle Wind Collection, Bloom, Day-days Blog, the soon to be "Gaizie Girl", Jelly Wares, Living in Paradise, Lzilulu's Stuff, Dragonfly, Riley's Ramblings.....and I think we may have a few more bloggers to join the ranks, maybe Tanya from Peak Hill, Jo and Vanessa from Dubbo.....I have so many photos to share...but I would like to say to all these ladies, a huge big thankyou for an absolute blast of a weekend.....from sitting outside on the pub verandah in the freezing cold drinking eating and sharing so many stories of pure inspiration...to bopping along in the pool room at the back of the pub listening to fantastic music from the 70's playing pool with the worst pool cue ever, and being entertained by the Norton Vintage Bikie Group (LOL you had to be there and of course Davie Crockett).........to the very speciak evening we had with Kerry at Cottage on the Hill on Sunday night....I keep saying this
'''I AM BLESSED''', ...........................

Another great peeper

I have been blown away again....I received an email from Jacquie...she has also used the peeper idea, this is a photo of her quilt that she has sent to me, just love the fabrics Jacquie has used in her quilt. Jacquie has cut her peeper 1.5 inches, which means she had a 1/2 inch peeper ....Jacquie has named her quilt...'Whirlygiggles Quilt'...don't you just love it....thanks so much Jacquie for sharing your fantastic quilt with me....

Civil War blocks here we come.....

Well....I now have the CW books, and the CD's, the foundation paper and hopefully the right fabric.......tomorrow is Club Quilt day so my friend Day-day and I thought we might start on the blocks....will send an email off to the the rest of the girls in our group to see if any one else may be interested.....today is a beautiful day, the sun is shining and of course the birds are singing...

Lisa's Quilt....

I received a lovely email from 'Lisa' yesterday, attached to her email she had a photo of her quilt... this is what Lisa said ......
"I just started quilting and have completed my second quilt this evening. I added a "peeper" to this one and love it."
I did a tutorial a few weeks back on adding a 'peeper' and I was so thrilled to see that Lisa had put my tutorial into practice. Lisa should be so very proud of her quilt it is just stunning...and I was blown away that she took the time to send me an email and a photo of her quilt......
