Another good day…..

 Club Quilt today….only 5 of us, but it was a lovely day….last night I completed two more stitcheries for the “Simple Pleasures’” quilt I am working on so that is 5 stitcheries now completed…(Fee and Christina only 7 to go)…… 

All 78 blocks have now been completed for Julie’s Nine Patch Swap…feels good to have them all completed…

Lovely spring day…

It is such a lovely spring day today….I have been busy working on my FIS paper bag swap…hope you like it Dawnie….I was given the above stitchery, some fabric and trim from Dawnie and I had to make it into a little something (will show a completed photo later)…I am pleased with how it turned out….I have also just about finished my 78 blocks for Julie’s “The Great Nine Patch Celebration Block”…should be in the post this week…..and here is my boy “Ollie”…doing it very hard, laying in the sun….

“Willpower”

OK Dawnie…this is your fault…(LOL)…..this is another of my purchases from Cottage On The Hill…Scandinavia Christmas by Lynette Anderson….It really called me…I kept saying “no”…but Monday morning when we popped out to see Kerry to pick up our purchases I couldn’t resist any longer….how’s that for willpower I lasted three days, I am getting better….LOL…

Cyber Quilting 2008…this was one of the projects…The finishing kit of fabrics I purchased at Cottage On The Hill in 2008, and guess where it was sitting…that’s it, on one of my shelves in the sewing room… but not any more….12 little stitcheries and I have done 3…..9 to go…..I should be ashamed of myself the number of kits I have sitting around that I have purchased…..new goal….(to be added to the huge list I already have)….to finish some of the kits…..I am sure I have said this before…..LOL…

Tuesday Treasures….

Tuesday Treasures…..my  little collection of old sewing machines…..The first one covered with one or two nick knack's….LOL….purchased for me by number one son…number 2 found on EBay…number 3 purchased by number two son…..number 4 found on EBay…and I did show you my other one which was a previous Tuesday Treasure…..so I have 5 in total…….I love them all…

Not sure where the time has gone today…2.45 and I am sitting down for a very late lunch…This is a little project I was working on yesterday….a table runner for my hope to be future DIL…..she loves black and white….

 

This is one of my Nundle purchases,……some yummy flannel fabric….I am going to make a shaggy quilt form these…

Today is Fathers Day……and I would like to wish all the Dads a fantastic day…….

Saturday…and its wet…

New kitchen appliance….Stone Baked Pizza Oven..so last night we made roasted vegetable pizza and it was so nice…….(egg plant, onion, tomatoes, sweet potato pumpkin, zucchini, capsicum, broccolini, and a sprinkle of cheese)

Lots of rain today…this is the only thing to do today….

A read and a practice..

 

I listened to one of Jackie's podcasts (which was so fantastic thanks Jackie) recently and she was chatting to Marie Bostwick the writer of these books….the story line sounded so good I just had to get a copy …these have just arrived from the Book Depository…..so I was just wondering who else has read these and what do you think…

  

  

A bit more practising with the pounce pad…made this little table runner and added a bit if a design to the outer border….
