Long weekend for us and I hope to be back into the sewing room, this is what I have been doing over the past few days….as well as….
This is my new purchase a Thermomix….I have wanted one of these for so long….my lovely friend Karri supplied this little beauty to me….
so some of the weekend has been playing with this….…My DH has always done the cooking ……the reason being, he is usually home well before me from work, even when our boys were babies it was the same……I have always been the cake/slice girl….. I normally don’t get home until after 6…
so I have made pumpkin soup, red chicken curry (DH loved this), scrambled eggs, basic old vegetables, rice and today hopefully a carrot cake…..If anyone has some recipes to share I would love to hear from you and of course any tips…
Happy long weekend, take care, keep safe…
Peg
Love your red work Peg. My daughter has a Thermomix and she loves it too.....this year she bought it a pretty jacket to wear..
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've been very busy. I love the Scandinavian Rose block, but I see you're doing something different with it. What could that be?
ReplyDeleteLove your sewing - that redwork is lovely. My daughter sells Thermies as she call them. I didn't know you could get pretty clothes for them. I do know there is a forum for recipes etc - do you know of it? I can find out if you need to know...

Loving your This and That and your Thermomix too :-)
ReplyDeleteI have a thermie and I LOVE it. I use it nearly every day and lots on the weekends. There are heaps of great recipes on the thermomix website (http://www.thermomix.com.au/). Having had mine nearly a year (it arrived the day before we went to Sydncy for our FIS meet up last year) I am confident at converting 'normal' recipes. I can email you some if you like.
