A finish.....I just love this stitchery designed by Judith, one of the members of "Among the Gum Tress"...I have made this bag just a little bit bigger...Judith thank you so much for this fantastic project..."Christmas Rose" gift bag.....
It has been just so hot today not sure what the temp is but it is HOT.....went to the Nursery this morning and purchased a few new plants for the garden, they will need a bit of tender care if this heat keeps up....hope you are all having a fab day....
It's gorgeous Peg...I have to say...when you mention the weather...I'm so glad we're heading into winter...the older I get, the more I don't do well in the heat. We had such a hot summer with so many days in the hundred and teens. I'll hope for a cool summer for you!
ReplyDeletemy self imposed rules have been well and truely broken this year by not planting new things after melbourne cup but I ahve put heaps in and so far they are surviving - not looking too bad.......but not the best idea..........

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet bag and the stitchery is just gorgeous. Unlike Sherri, I love the heat. I always seem to be cold and have a difficult time keeping warm. As I get older, I welcome the "flashes of heat"...
ReplyDeletePeg it is lovely. It looks better to me now that you made it.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to use it as a gift bag this holiday season?
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous. What a great way to wrap a gift. I love the beads.

ReplyDeleteYour bag turned out beautifully. I wonder what is going inside?
ReplyDeleteOh Peg it turned out so pretty - those fabrics are wonderful, they're very old-fashioned looking and go with the stitchery perfectly. Stay cool, dear Peg!
ReplyDeleteHey Peg! As always, your finished project is GORGEOUS! Love the red and green you've matched to your stitchery and it looks like a handy sized bag, too - well done!
