Just fiddling…..

Not fabric I usually work with, but, I think I need to look outside the square sometimes…

We received some amazing flowers when my darling MIL passed away….I have a thing for natives and our local florist does know my likes and so do our wonderful friends…

….the best thing about natives is, they do last a long time, so today we did some culling and I have made these two little arrangements..

Happy Saturday, take care, keep safe

  1. Your new arrangements look lovely Peg. Interesting fabric! I don't usually work in the Japanese fabrics either.

  2. Brave girl, Peg - I'm flat out working within the square, lol!
    Hugs - Lurline.

  3. hmm interesting looking project Peg and your arrangements look wonderful have a wonderful weekend my friend.xx

  4. I'm trying to use fabrics I don't normally use either!!! Love your native arrangements!

  5. Very different choice, but I'm sure you will turn it into something wonderful. Nice to dabble in some flower re-arranging.

  6. I love natives too Peg....they are such good value as they last for ages :)

  7. Love the colours in your new project. I'm sure you'll create something wonderful with them.
    Enjoy your flowers.

  8. You are a better woman than I, I am reluctant to move away from what I like and know well. Knowing you it will be amazing!

  9. They do look very different and lovely fabrics. beautiful native flower arrangements. They last so long too dont they. Hubby gave me some a few weeks ago and they still look good.

  10. I haven't been here for a while and had a lot of reading to do. So sorry to read about you mother in law. Cherish the good memories of her.
I saw that you have been very busy sewing some beautiful projects again. Amazing how much you always get done. Wonder if down under the days have more hours ;-)

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment, I do enjoy reading them all...take care, keep safe, happy quilting .. Peg
