The Ode They shall grow not old, As we that are left grow old, Age shall not weary them, Nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, And in the morning We will remember them.
We went to Villers-Bretonneux last year after ANZAC Day and I still feel very emotional about the experience when I think about the war memorial there and even worse when I talk about it. My heartfelt thanks to those young people who made the ultimate sacrifice for those who followed in their footsteps and to those families who have family members in the armed forces overseas, defending the present and our future.
