Back in 2008 our Pat (from Club Quilt) organized a ‘Round Robin Paper Bag Swap’ the above block is my block…what we then did was place this in a paper bag and pass it onto the next person, who in turn made a block and attached it…then it went to the next person and so on….I included my own fabrics which could be used or the person making the block could add their own…..I have finally finished this quilt…….to Pat I would like to say thank you so very much I had a ball doing this and I know everyone else did as well….and then to the ladies who have contributed blocks to my quilt……Gai P, Pat, Carol, June, Carolyn, Dale, Fiona and Joanie…every stitch in my quilt will be cherished……thank you so much…mwah……a good feeling to have this one finished…
Take Care Peg……:>)…

Wow! That is gorgeous! A real treasure. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! At first glance I thought it must be from an actual pattern - not a round robin, as every bit coordinates so beautifully with every other bit! How lucky to have such talented and caring friends!
