Another Journal cover….I have made two journal covers from these two pieces of fabrics….I purchases this fabric I would say 8 years ago…loving the fabric, but never knowing what to make with it…I am so pleased that I have finally used it….I sometimes wonder why I buy fabric and just hang onto it…I often find it hard to make that first cut….

Love your journal cover Peg. I have that fabric too, and the same problem with cutting into it. Your son certainly knows how to catch fish!Happy birthday.

Your journal cover looks lovely. I love the fabric. I sometimes buy fabric because I just had to have it but then never know what to use it for too!

Ah, fabric - love to have it, love to touch it and so often, just don't want to cut into it either. Glad I'm not the only one with this affliction ;)

I feel the same way about some fabrics. Your cover though definitely does it justice.

Your son is some kind of fisherman! What a fish!

You were very brave cutting into some of your favourite fabric. I know exactly how you feel. Happy birthday to your first baby. That's a huge fish he caught. I'm having lunch with a special surprise visitor today. I'll take the camera.

Those are gorgeous fabrics - can understand your reluctance, but they look amazing together in the journal cover.

Happy birthday to #1 son. Did he keep the fish? Still recon you must have been under age.
I have fabric like that too. Some pieces are the same age as yours. I too will get to cutting them but for now they are petted and put back.
