My little sneak peak from last week is now finished…my version of “A Little Bit Of French” laundry bag….and a I have also completed a swap parcel which will be heading off today…

Heaven is blessed with perfect rest but the blessing of earth is toil.
This is what I have been doing…..but, it has been a good weekend…I have been able to finish off 2 BAS’s…..I am hoping to do a bit of hand stitching later today…

More Quilters World gadgets….Titanium Needles…they should outlast any normal needle so far so good………Tapered Taylors Awl, not sure how I have sewn without one of these beside me, such a handy tool…..and Bobbin Washers (Teflon washer eliminates backlash and birds nests on the underside of your quilts for free motion quilting, same as the needles so far so good…)…

Yesterday I was able to do a bit of cross hatching on my new project…this was done with the walking foot…
This cross hatching I have done on this block with my free motion foot….using another couple of gadgets I purchased from Quilters World..
This is a ‘sew slip mat’ and ‘quilting halo’…
Demo on how the ‘quilt halo’ is used…….
I am very impressed with these gadgets…..I tired the ‘quilt and tear’ yesterday as well…I think lots of practice is needed in my free motion quilting, but the product did work very well……

Wow…..what a week…..huge hours at work….I am getting too old for 11 hour days……This is another little purchase I made at Quilters World.. Quilt and Tear Paper…..photocopy a design that you would like to quilt onto your project…iron it onto this roll of paper, pin the paper to your fabric….stitch around design using your machine, tear the paper away….sounds simple…LOL…..hoping to get a chance tomorrow to have a bit of a bash…
