DSCN1208DSCN1209DSCN1210DSCN1211DSCN1212

Most of you may be aware I have two job….

My first job ….1975…after a year of Tafe…I was 17 years old and I was was employed as a junior clerk take home pay of $49 and that was after a deduction of 20% for inexperience…

When the store closed….it was an old fashion department store we sold everything and I mean everything….

I was then then called Store Manager…still doing all the accounting…

and my offsider who was the grocery manager was my very dear friend Dale….

Who is also my neighbour…and a lot of you would know her as well…..

The store closed and lots more happened but

I still work for Pete ….I call over to what we call the SHED… after my day job….

He is 79…and I am 60….

and he now travels a lot….leaves the SHED and the boot business with my DH and I….. but never goes away without bringing  back a gift for me…

this year he was in Ireland for a week or so as well as Canada ..USA… and found this beautiful runner made from Irish Linen from Ireland

Happy Monday

take care

keep safe
