Ah I love a look into someone else's sewing space! especially the messy ones, LOL! Peg sometimes you have to make a mess to achieve progress. Don't worry about it...
I always tell myself that creative clutter is better than idle neatness - it's my excuse and I'm sticking with it. I think it looks like lots of fun and creativity.
Thank you for showing us your mess. My sewing room looks like that everytime I work on a project or get ready to teach a workshop. From our mess comes really great work. Keep it up.
Thank you so much for sharing your mess! I do believe it is all done in the -hugely popular - progress styly. Mine looks almost exactly like that and I needed an excuse!
Oh I love your applique!! Is this original art or is there a pattern you're using? I just love it. And the 'mess' is a sign of serious creativity at work. :)
Well Peg, that's just about how my sewing room looks after working on applique, LOL. I don't do very much of it, but when I do, I have such a time selecting fabrics that it looks like a bomb went off in the room. Drives me crazy too because I'm a bit obsessive compulsive when I sew and everything is put away as I finish up with it. Applique is the exception, LOL. BUT...I think you made progress because the pieces you worked on are wonderful!!! Can't wait to see them all finished up. Big Hugs...
It's nice to know my sewing room isn't the only one looking like this LOL.I think you're making something and the mess is a by-product :) Barb.
