ReplyDeletehi peg,
ReplyDeletethat quilt is adorable! i have a question......can i ask what is the attraction for most seasoned quilters with these little quilts? while there is absolutely no denying their beauty, i often wonder what i would do with them. to me, quilts must have a purpose and so many gorgeous fabric ranges come out with great patterns, but of course, only for small quilts. i've never bothered to use charm square packs or jelly rolls for this reason. i see a lap quilt living it's life in the linen cupboard. ( you don't need too many ). i always buy fabric by the metre and made big bed quilts, quilts that to me have a purpose, but i'd love to get some charm packs etc and whip up a gorgeous quilt, but what would i do with it?
gosh, am i making sense? i asked this question once before and i was totally misunderstood...LOL.
one can only have so many lap quilts, right?
julie :)
