Finished.....

My pleated log cabin is finally finished .....this was done as a quilt as you go...even though this quilt is only 9 blocks it is still very heavy, lots of fabric, I am pleased I didn't continue making it larger, it fits perfectly on a couple of tables we have at home.....I am really happy with it...very warm here today...

  2. Hey Peg! WOW! Your quilt looks FABULOUS! Your house must just be wall to wall quilts after all of these finishes!!! Oh, love your new background colours too - very 'spring-y'! Reminds me of the beach for some reason. :0) Have a fantastic weekend! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Why is the quilt so heavy? Is it flannel? Just curious :^)

  6. I've gotten bad about reading blogs and not commenting, but I had to take a moment--- I love your quilt. Definitely something to save and pass on to the next line in the family. Beautiful. Sometimes quilted pieces are whimsical--- but this is definitely a classic. Great job.
