This quilt top has also been finished for quite a while, yes folded up waiting for that special person to complete it for.....We held a workshop a few years back and we had to buy three different fabrics....a light, a dark and a contract, so these are the three that I came up with, it was my first ever purchase from O/S ......Moda...Cinnamon Stars...
I love this quilt pattern Peg, and your fabrics certainly do it justice, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful quilt Peg, I love the pattern and the colour/fabrics are perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove the story. Very nice quilt you can finish up. Yes you can do it!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
I especially like the green fabric in this quilt.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful quilt. The fabrics you chose work perfectly. I love quilts like this with white/light backgrounds. So fresh looking and the stars really pop.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Molly would love to come to Narromine for a sleepover. Not sure how she'd cope with the heat. I travelled to Qld on a bus in January once (on a brass band tour)via your part of the world and nearly died when we stopped in Dubbo! She would be so excited to meet Ollie and Chloe. Thanks for all your nice comments. Happy stitching. Christine.
PS. Do you wash your charm squares before you use them?
What a stunning quilt! Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteAh, Cinnamon Stars was one of a great line and Your color scheme is stunning for this quilt! It's very lovely.
