Paper Bag Swap

Paper Bag Swap organized by Maree.......this is what I have received from Jenny...(I was thrilled when I realized Jenny was my swap partner)....a little bit of a challenge here for me but I did start last night....

and this is what I sent to Jenny.....in a couple of weeks...all will be revealed...

A finish and a birthday....

Today is my very dear friend Dale's birthday...she has turned that lovely age of.....**....Kerry and I have just returned from taking her out to lunch....please pop over and wish her a very happy day and have a look at all the lovely fabric she received in the "Fat Quarter Birthday Swap"......my little project from yesterday is all finished, so I think I can let Kris and May Britt know another one bites the dust ...this now brings me up to date with my finish One Project a Month Challenge, I was running a little behind there........

Lovely day...

Saturday...we slept in, then DH and I cleaned the house....we were very naughty for lunch, hot chips, chicken salt and gravy, sat out in the sun with the boys (Ollie and Tarj - the dogs) and the chippies were just lovely, yes we did share with the boys and Bonnie next door......and this is today's project "A Whimsical Gift" a little stitchery by Natalie Lymer - Cinderberry Stitches, I just love here work....I hope to have this finished tomorrow...I hope you are all having a great day....

Wonky Houses are done...

Well here it is my Wonky Houses all finished....I completed this the other day at our 10 - 10 quilting day ....a great big thankyou to Jenny....these were just so much fun to stitch, they are still on Jenny's site why not pop over and print them off .........it is a lovely day to day cool, but the sun is shining we have had a couple of very big frosts over the past couple of day and the nights have been so cold......

Birthday Fat Quarter Swap...

When we went to Nundle to GDITC...we were all so keen to stay in touch with each other that the lovely Chookyblue organized a "Birthday Swap" amongst us....16 are participating and what we do is sent two fat quarters to the birthday girl....so this weekend is the first of the birthdays and can you believe it we have four birthdays in two days....on Saturday we have Kerry and June and on Sunday we have Dale and Helen.....these are my little gifts, I only had to send two in the post as Dale and June live in town....now how much fun is this going to be...receiving 32 fat quarters for your birthday..........enjoy your day....

Another Finish......

Running a tad late...

Today is launch day for this wonderful new site for sewers called SEWN

Sneaky Peak......

This is a little preview of a project I am working on at he moment, but more on this one later......

Tomorrow is Club Quilt....we have decided to have a 10 am to 10 pm day...so lots of projects have been organized...it has been a while since I have seen some of the girls so I am really looking forward to catching up with them.....hope you all have a great day..

One of my little projects at the moment....Leanne Beasley's Couch Companion.....I have decided to use this fabric.....Peace on Earth...by Three Sister - Moda...I am hoping to get this completed on the weekend....it is a long weekend, three days off.....yippee There is a new one in our midst...a blogger that is...please pop over and give Anne a lovely big blogland welcome....her blog name is "Snail Patches"....cute ...

A little bit of wonky.....

Look what I have received in the post....lots of wonky houses.....I was in a swap organized by the very talented Lurline.....thank you so much to all the ladies who have contributed to my lovely collection and of course to Lurline for all her hard work in organizing all of us ...it has been a fun, once again I ventured outside my square......now how will I join them, any idea's???

A little bit of this and that....

More cookies for the boys at work...this time lots of cornflakes and fruit, yep healthy ones....LOL....Working in a Ford Dealership there are always lots of staff incentives....this is my new little 2009 LX Focus this time I have gone for a Hatch, can't believe I have gone for white, but I have and a manual....I have not driven a manual since we had our Pajero when the boys were growing up...( I have to remember not to open the door, stick the key in to start it, especially when I have left the car in gear...LOL....)...it is raining here in downtown Narromine, just what we need...have a great day...
