Just thought I would share with you my little treat that came in the post last week.....yes it is Moda - Chez Moi - Posh, I purchased these from a place called Quilters Biz.....it is sush a 'happy' range....... happy stitchin.....Peg ... :>)
Today is 'stipple the black and white' quilt day......I really need to finish this off, prepared the quilt last weekend so all the hard bits are done....I do a meander which is much bigger and it really is very quick.... Peg ... :>) ...

It is a great day today...I have just been to pick up my eldest son Luke from the plane, he is home for two weeks....Luke is living in Darwin in the Northern Territory...he hasn't been home since last January....my DH and I had plans to visit Luke last year, but after taking on the new position at work and because of the workload we had to cancel our plans...So we went into Dubbo did a little bit of shopping and went out for a very nice lunch....but now back to today's post...two more blocks for Ruth's quilt......have a fab day...Peg ... :>) ...
Well here it is Monday again, had a lovely weekend, did a lot of sewing...it is so nice when you have a weekend and you accomplish so much....I was able to finish off two baby quilts, stipple one of those little "in the cupboard" quilts, which is the first picture, it has been a while since I have quilted a larger quilt... and I also have the black and white ready to quilt....This is my little pink baby quilt....so lets hope of the two babies due this month one will be a little girl......Peg .... :>) ...
I have quilted two small baby quilts and this is the next one on my list.....I am using Fusible wadding, which is fusible both sides....this is made by Matilda's Own..(I think).. it is 80% cotton and 20% polyester, very nice to use especially if you are a little time poor, as it is very quick...place the backing onto the floor tape down very securely.....place your wadding on the top, smooth out, then place your quilt top down, the instruction is to pin down, not with safety pins, but I really don't think this is necessary, with your stream iron just press......remove masking tape...usually you need to turn over and give the back a press as well, no need to use any masking tape this time.....and it is very nice to quilt, similar to cotton wadding.... Now is the time to start quilting some of these quilts that I have stashed in my cupboard....start off with the small ones and build up...have a great day.....Peg... :>) ...
Well this is the last of my "in the cupboard" unfinished quilt tops.....until I put more in there anyway...LOL...This is the second of the Thimbleberries Quilt Club block of the months done with Kerry - Cottage on the Hill a few years ago...this is called "Sunset Quilt"......I must admit these are my kind of colours.... I have now framed the three completed stitcheries...I still need to complete one more stitchery and it too can be framed.... Peg ... :>) ...
Two more stitcheries for Ruth's Quilt....I really think we need more hours in the day, I set goals for each day, most days I achieve these, some days well, we won't even go there....but there is so much more to do......it must be all these fantastic blogs I have been visiting they are totally awesome... Our group "Club Quilt" met on Sunday and this was my project for the day....made from two charm packs, green strip used as a peeper which will also be the bind and a 6.5 inch border...made from Moda - Za Za - definitely not my normal choice of fabric, but I think it is 'happy'.... Peg ... :>) ...

Thimbleberries Block Of The Month....I did this through Kerry at Cottage On The Hill a couple of years ago....this is the called the "Sunrise Quilt"....The fabric collection used is "Circle Of Love"...and once again I must admit that this also is living in my cupboard....Peg... :>) ...
