ReplyDeleteGorgeous Peg. Hugs,xx
ReplyDeleteOh my it's stunning... I love love love it :)
ReplyDeleteAs for buying linen, sorry I am probably not the best person to advise as I live in UK and everything is expensive here. I do hope you find somewhere and continue to make the wonderful things that you do.
Smiles :)
What a great idea. I haven't seen the original version, but you've been clever making your own. I have a collection of overdyed threads on cardboard like yours and mine are in a really classy snap lock bag at the moment. I like your thread holder better. It's so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour thread holder looks great, Peg.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Peg. I made the original for a friend and yet to make mine! I too would be interested in linen stockists. I did buy some hanky linen fat quarters last week which are nice from under the mulberry tree. The shop is owned by Rosalie quinlans sister. They have some gorgeous stock.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful peg, and i love the fabrics in the keeper too. they compliment the linen perfectly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Peg - linen is lovely to work on isn't it - and adds that little extra 'something special' to a project!
ReplyDeleteits gorgeous Peg... I love linens too... have mostly used hanky linen which I get from The Quilted Angel and they do have quite a few different colours

Peg, that is really lovely! Before moving to the US last year, I had been getting linens at Stitcher's Corner in Perth for over thirty years. I was always happy with the service they offered. Their web site is http://stitcherscorner.com.au
ReplyDeleteA great finish there Peg.
ReplyDeleteI love linen too. You can get hanky linen from Gail B's and I know they do mail order.
ReplyDeleteYour thread holder is really beautiful
Your stitch holder is lovely. Gorgeous stitching.
ReplyDeleteI will watch your comments to see any suggestions about linen. I am not finding it easy to get good quality any more, either.
Love your thread holder, especially the colour of the thread, we have some linen at work, let me know which one you use and I will see if we have it and how much a metre it is
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful Peg. I've read all the comments and will try a few of the same stores... although my local has a nice quality linen or two so I'm usually OK. Best of luck! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it. The colours are gorgeous. Good luck hunting for your linen.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your CGT holder Peg
