There is a story !!!!!!….
I made this flimsy ohhhh, years ago, I started to quilt it and made a big mess, and of course chucked it in the cupboard, I found it the other day, during our Cyber Stitching weekend, thought to myself as one does, I should unpick this mess and have another bash at stippling (well mine is more of a more of a meander)….so I did….the girls helped me do the bind, I normally stitch down the bind by hand, but, I did do this one by machine…….so here it is…all done and dusted…
Happy Hump Day, take care, keep safe
Peg
Well done. It's a great feeling to tick old UFOs off the list.

ReplyDeleteGood in you for pulling out a mess and finishing it right. Nothing worse than having a problem.
ReplyDeleteOh Well Done you!!! It is a wonderful quilt too... I love the colors and the look of it. I am just venturing out going to start my very first quilt very soon... I have all the bits I think I need, just have to finish a few stitching projects first.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this.... It has given me hope in finishing what I will start :)

Peg - that is great - its always hard to go back to something like that - and frustrating to unpick quilting too. The fabrics look lovely and the quilt looks very snuggly. any more hidden UFOs??
