I have just completed this stitchery…and I think I will make it into a bag….this morning I purchased some bamboo handles on line and the fabric range I am going to use is “Revival”….Free Spirit….just a simple little tote bag….what do you think?
Hello…..OPAMers how are all those finishes coming along?
Enjoy your day…Take care Peg…..:>)

Hey Peg! Oooohh!! I love that range of fabrics! I used them to make a quilt for our spare room last January and have had sooooo many wonderful comments back about it. I'm sure you'll get lovely comments back about your tote bag, too and I can't wait to see it! And ... it's a change from your gorgeous table-runner production! :0) Bear Hugs! KRIS
ReplyDeleteI just love those little birds. They will make a gorgeous bag!
ReplyDeleteI think a bag would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteA bag in those fabrics will be lovely. Exactly the same fabrics I've used for "Butterfly Garden" - still with no stitcheries/appliques done (not even traced). We are so good at encouraging each other, aren't we?
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful - it will be perfect!
ReplyDeleteHugs - Lurline♥
very nice and it would be a lovely bag. Love the colours
ReplyDeleteTooo Cute - love the little birdies - can't wait to see the bag in those pretties.

ReplyDeleteOoohhhh...VERY pretty Peg....perfect fabrics for the stitchery and a perfect project!
ReplyDeleteYour bag is going to be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am working on 2 very complex projects right now. They will both be finished before months end but not as quick as the little things I made last month. I am custom quilting a quilt and doing a crazy quilting project for my Mother in Laws birthday. :)
You, my friend, have excellent taste in fabric! I feel that a bag is the most perfect idea for the fabric and completed with one of your cute stitcheries.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is lovely. Where did you find your bag handles? My makes are going much better than I thought they would as the day job usually gets in the way. I astounded myself by atcually sitting down and using some left over wool last night to knit and be able to follow the pattern and in an hour I had knitted a cloche hat!! On a roll I crocheted a flower to go on it. Good job I was sitting down as I am not an overly great knitter but i am finally improving I think. I will blog about it later this week.
xx
I always say yes to bags! Very tweet.
ReplyDeleteI´ve seen your lovely work and I thought maybe you´d like a thread organizer, check this ;)
