Magic Hexagons......After doing this quilt at Cottage on the Hill a few years ago we had a day at our group Club Quilt, also a few years back........ the hexagon is made by using a template, so very easy and quick....I have done each hexagon from a different fabric not repeating any and it was made from scraps.....lots of fun....have a great day...
Beautiful! So many hexagon projects going on right now I've noticed. I love them so but dislike the idea of handwork.
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt and it has given me such inspiration...can't wait to get started on one of my own.
ReplyDeleteI love your hexagon quilt. Was this one of the patterns where part was done on the machine or is it all hand stitched? I love hand work and keep buying those little packages of the hexagon paper pieces. Also really like your coin quilt. A great idea for all of those jelly rolls and honey buns we've bought.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!! I started a quilt like this years ago, but didn't have the patience to finish it. (you must have a lot of patience and determination. Great job.
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks, Peg! I see someone else was silly enough to go hexagon crazy, too! At least yours is finished and is gorgeous!
