Just what I need..

A few empty tins, some scrap book paper and just a little bit of double sided tape…and what do you have some lovely new containers for all your bits ad pieces…..and I not sure if you are like me but I have lots of those….

OPAM…..a few more finishes are coming in which is so nice to see….congratulations to everyone…we still have a few days left….

Another little case…

 

Another glasses or rotary cutter case….I have used perle thread to add some stitches…and I just love this button which I purchased at Cottage On The Hill. Back to work today after a wonderful three day long weekend….

OK …all you OPAMers out there, how are all your finishes going….thanks so much to every one who has sent emails to either Kris or myself, they are very much appreciated….remember to update your side bar…still a few more days left of April and I am sure we can all fit in at least one or two more finishes…..LOL……

Lest We Forget……

Club Quilt today….and we had a lovely roll up, everyone had lots of projects on the go….I did get a few things done today as well…….I made this glasses case a design by Anni Downs, but I did add the ric rac as a little something extra….this is also a perfect size for a rotary cutter…..I also made for morning tea this Date Caramel Slice, the recipe is in Kerry Swains new book, “Dreaming of a White Christmas”…

So much happening..

This morning I was up early and on the computer doing some book work for my clients by 7.30, and by doing this I was able to spend some time with my sewing machine this afternoon…these are some of the projects I am working on at the moment, there will be lots of show and tell once they are finished…

Club Quilt tomorrow….and I have a caramel date slice in the oven cooking to take for morning tea…and all my projects are ready for a big day of sewing..

Hope you all had a chance to do some stitching today…

Oh dear…..I do have a problem I think……I have signed up for this BOM….”Life Is Beautiful”…..designed by Hugs and Kisses…using the Rural Jardine fabric by Moda and this BOM is being distributed by Patchwork by the Sea…How lovely are these threads they are an overdyed floss by Threadworx….I can’t wait to start this one…

This is a little stitchery I have been working on…I found this pattern in ‘Homespun” number 76 it is called ‘What A Perfect Day”….designed by Robyn Allen-Waters, the dusty rose porcelain hat was a freebie if you visited the Orange Daisy website…. I think this little button really makes the stitchery….here it is middle of the week again and it looks like another perfect day….

Bit more from the weekend..

These are just a few patterns that I purchased at Anni’s. I have done the stitcheries for the little kits…I hope I can get those together on the weekend… I also purchased some fabric will show some photos of that tomorrow…  

   

And after a hard morning at Anni’s shopping and chatting, shopping and chatting we needed nourishment….
