I received an email from Lorraine from Chookasmum and she has this fantastic idea....and asked if I could help out ...of course the answer was yes....Pop over to Lorraine's blog and have a read she has put together a great post..........
Lorraine's idea is that us bloggers band together and put together some 'sanity savers' for those affected by the horrific 'Victorian Fires' that have devastated our country.....to date there have been 181 lives lost, over 750 homes burnt to the ground and over 5,000 people left homeless at this stage...
These 'sanity savers' would be for those persons (mainly women) who are involved/or do/or love craft, gardening etc, if we could all get together and donate some goodies so that the many quilters, crafters, gardeners etc, will have some of life's little treats so that they can have some much needed crafty therapy. The donations do not have to be large just a fat quarter, a reel of thread, some needles, a pin cushion, I am sure you all know what I mean... if we all just give a little, then we will have a lot, which in turn would make up some lovely packages to pass on to these ladies who have lost so much.....their suffering will go on for a long time but if we could help out, just a little, and show that we care, I am sure this will make a difference to their lives....
