A finish and a birthday....

Today is my very dear friend Dale's birthday...she has turned that lovely age of.....**....Kerry and I have just returned from taking her out to lunch....please pop over and wish her a very happy day and have a look at all the lovely fabric she received in the "Fat Quarter Birthday Swap"......my little project from yesterday is all finished, so I think I can let Kris and May Britt know another one bites the dust ...this now brings me up to date with my finish One Project a Month Challenge, I was running a little behind there........

Pink and white for Isla

The little baby quilt has now been completed for my great niece Isla......very simple design........it is all wrapped up ready for delivery we have bought a little set of cars for Rory (Isla's brother) so he won't feel left out when the parcel is dropped off.........not a nice day today, overcast and windy, a bit bleak.... tomorrow is the first day of winter, so we have been very lucky so far with our weather..........enjoy your day back to work tomorrow.....take care Peg ....I have just realized I can use this as a finish for "One Project A Month Challenge"..... yippee......this will have to be for March..

Can you believe it..................

'Yippee Yahoo'......I have another finish...this has been laying on the spare bed for several weeks, I sent it away and had it quilted by Betty (as it is a very large quilt) as soon as I received it back from Betty I attached the bind and then it sat and sat and sat....so Sunday night pulled it out and started sewing down the bind and I finished it last night....this can be a number two finish for February's "One Project A Month Challenge"... hosted by Kris and May Britt..... how good do you feel when you finish a UFO.... boy it is hot today.....

It's finished....

My "Wonky Stars" table runner is now completed and I must admit I am pleased with the finished product, this was my project yesterday at 'Club Quilt' ....

I think I could class this as my February finish for Kris and May Britt's "One Project A Month Challenge" .....enjoy your day.
