Girls Day In The Country is on once again...tomorrow we are heading off for four days to Nundle to visit Kerry at "Cottage On The Hill"...she has guest tutors Rosalie Quinlan and Leanne Beasley, now how awesome is that.....this is a group photo of a few of us "bloggers' who had met for the first time last year, unfortunately a couple could not make it this year, but this year our little band of happy bloggers has grown......for the past two weeks we have been doing a countdown of sleeps...(how old are we)...and during this time I can say we have exchanged several hundred emails....other than not ever having met some of these ladies it is like we have know each other for years...I hope to have lots of photos next week to share....so I hope you all keep safe ...

Well I think I have won the lottery today...look what arrived in the post....These are all my treats which have been made by the very talented Sherri for the Tea Swap conducted by Stephanie... I am totally speechless, so much work Sherri, I just love the fabric you have used, all the spots how good do they all look? Thankyou so very much Sherri, wow what a day....I am sending you a great big cyber hug Sherri....and Stephanie congratulations to you on a very successful, fun Tea Swap, I am so pleased I was apart of it.

Where has it gone...

The weekend where has it gone....busy, busy, busy.....did get a bit of stitching done last night...Block 3 ...Once Upon A Time..free BOM by Capricorn Quilts, I just have to add a bow to each tree....these are just so much fun to stitch...so did you get a bit of sewing/stitching done this weekend???

Treats

Treats in the post..I know I didn't really need these fabrics, but they were so cheap I just had to buy them, they are just so rich, of all the gorgeous fabrics that are around, I am still really drawn to all the dark earthy tones....we are having a little rain today which is just so nice...enjoy your day.

Here are my "Wonky Houses"...probably a little more scrappier than what they should be....I have sent them off to Lurline....and if they are not quite right I will gladly make some more...wow what a day, so busy, now why do I have to work...OK I remember I have a problem with fabric........hope you all had a great day....

A special visit...

Yesterday I had a dear friend call in for a visit...Norma is a member of our Club Quilt group, she is now living in Sydney with her daughter...and look what Norm had made for me, this gorgeous cushion it has made its home on my recliner....just love it Norm thank you so very much, it will be treasured just like you are......beautiful day today, hope you all have an opportunity to do a bit of sewing, I hope to get some done later tonight, unfortunately I had to work today...

Wonky houses here I come......

Saturday afternoon, I have the house to myself...an old Aussie Move "A Town Like Alice" is just about to start on PayTV.....DH has gone to play Bowls....DH and I have done the housework, the washing (even though we do it everyday and there is only two of us, we always have heaps) the kids (the dogs) have had their weekly bath.....still need to do the ironing will do that a little later on, but now it is time for some sewing, back to my Wonky Houses...hope to have them finished this weekend Lurline...hope everyone has a fab day......

Tilda......done

I have completed the Tilda Stitchery given to me by Lise ...I have used a variegated thread and I must admit I am very pleased with it.....I have just received this jelly roll and I think this will be perfect fabric to use with this stitchery ...the fabric is Candy Kisses by Sandy Gervais for Moda Fabrics...not sure yet what I am going to make...any suggestions???
