  2. Oh my it's stunning... I love love love it :)
As for buying linen, sorry I am probably not the best person to advise as I live in UK and everything is expensive here. I do hope you find somewhere and continue to make the wonderful things that you do.

  3. What a great idea. I haven't seen the original version, but you've been clever making your own. I have a collection of overdyed threads on cardboard like yours and mine are in a really classy snap lock bag at the moment. I like your thread holder better. It's so pretty.

  5. Beautiful Peg. I made the original for a friend and yet to make mine! I too would be interested in linen stockists. I did buy some hanky linen fat quarters last week which are nice from under the mulberry tree. The shop is owned by Rosalie quinlans sister. They have some gorgeous stock.

  9. Peg, that is really lovely! Before moving to the US last year, I had been getting linens at Stitcher's Corner in Perth for over thirty years. I was always happy with the service they offered. Their web site is http://stitcherscorner.com.au

I will watch your comments to see any suggestions about linen. I am not finding it easy to get good quality any more, either.

  13. Looks wonderful Peg. I've read all the comments and will try a few of the same stores... although my local has a nice quality linen or two so I'm usually OK. Best of luck! :)
