Me and My thermie

Thermie and I have been busy….4 batches of tomato relish….My BIL grows vegies…so on Thursday James went out to get a bucket of tomatoes, still have heaps left after making these and 8 more jars…

I have given several jars away and still have heaps left for us….

My DS Josh  made some date scones for me this morning….and OMG….they were awesome…..

    Thermies are great! Though I haven't used mine for a week or so - NAUGHTY NAUGHTY! We love making relish in ours too. We have fiddled with heaps or recipes and adapted to our tastes. I know a lady who blitzes her toms and put them in the freezer in bags of a certain weight and used it for lasagne, pasta etc. Good idea! Where did you get your skin? Love it!

  17. two of my favourites - date scones and tomato relish - but not together. One of my sons makes really good scones, I think he needs to come visit so he can make some more for us.
