These beautiful pieces belonged to my darling MIL…..and we saved them from a garage sale some of my DH’s family were having ……I have a huge passion for things from the past….many of these pieces originally belonged to James’s great aunts…..…most of the pieces are stamped and numbered…and some are just so fine…..

now…..I am, or we are, the very, very proud owners…..more tomorrow….

Happy Wednesday, take care, keep safe

  3. lucky you Peg! they are gorgeous...

when my Mum passed away, some idiot in my family took ALL of her china like this to the Op Shop! most of it had belonged to my Grandmother and her Mother, a little piece of history lost...

glad you managed to save yours.

  5. Peg, you are so lucky. I lived out of state and wasn't able to do that when my parents had an estate sale. My mom wasn't in to things like that so all the pretty cups my grandmother had collected "went out the door." I just hope someone is appreciating them.

  14. Lucky to have such beauties. When my Grandma passed away I asked to have all her china as I have so many lovely memories of spending afternoon tea with her and her bowls ladies when I was a little girl. I don't know how valuable they are but I wouldn't part with them, they're too precious.
