I use ion on wadding, which is fantastic…..but I always have heaps of leftover bits and pieces…too good to throw out…..last time we were at Cottage On the Hill, Kerry had some of this amazing stuff “Heat Press” Batting together..  which joins together all those bits…I used it on the weekend it was fantastic…so now I can use all those smaller pieces of batting….

Happy Wednesday, take care, keep safe

  9. Thanks Peg... sounds like a much better way to join pieces than zig-zagging.

  10. I usually sew my scraps together but this would probably be easier. I'll have to get some and give it a try!

  11. Haven't heard of that stuff Peg - a lot quicker than sewing the pieces together.

  12. I, too, am a recent convert to the batting tape. A most excellent alternative to zig zagging batting scraps together, which always stretched and altered the next flat batting into ripples ;(
One tip I would offer is overlap your batting bits just a hair and rotary cut a clean joint (removing the slivers above and below the joint) and you will find it is almost indiscernible.
I have gotten into the habit of joining scraps as soon as I get remnants. I keep adding until I have a piece I can use!
