Sharing ideas…

Last weekend at Carols retreat, we all had a giggle when Gai came out with her miners light attached to her head!!!

But we all had a go, thought what a great idea for stitching….so on Friday the DH went to the local hardware shop and now I have my very own miners light…LOL..

Not what one would call a fashion accessory!!!!!….I am sure if anyone came to our door and I forgot to remove it, they would think I had totally lost the plot…!!!!

So this lovely piece is attached to the head…there are three positions for the light, so it can be directed on what you are working on…the light is bright just perfect for stitching,…..I just had to share with you this fantastic idea of Gai’s….

Happy Monday Stitching, take care, keep safe

Peg

Ideas can be life-changing.  Sometimes all you need to open the door is just one more good idea.

  6. Don't forget to take it off before you leave the house, a tape measure around your neck is one thing, but a headlight is a bit more obvious! Good idea though.

  16. Haha... That's so funny, 3 Tassie quilters whose husbands had these for camping can occasionally be seen with these lights attached to our heads when stitching...we call them our "dickhead" lights.... Sorry for the language, but you have to admit you do feel like one when stitching with it on your head!!! Haha

  18. OH Peg, I think this looks like just the ticket for my poor eyes. I'm going to see if I can find one here in the US...surely they sell them everywhere, or am I being a bit too optimistic? Big Hugs...

  20. A great idea..you can't always guarantee that there will be somewhere to plug in a lamp..so with the lamp you could stitch anywhere..

  21. Hi Peg,
I think it sounds like a lovely fashion statement. The older I get, the more light I need! I would also like to say a special thank you for the warm welcome you arranged for my new blog. It was like a big hug from faraway places and it really made my day. Thank you! Debbie

  23. I love the light. I wonder if we can get them here? Is it heavy?
I am so excited my package made it to you. I was so worried. Wow, 2 months. I wonder if that is normal? Something to take into consideration in the future.

  25. LOL ... I enjoyed the chuckle ... but I can see how great this would work in a room that doesn't have great lighting.
