  5. Hi Peg! Not sure if you will remember me, it's been so long since I've been round. I've had 4 surgeries since I last stopped by, no worries, I'm doing well, but last years sewing was a bust, totally. However, my reason for stopping by is that in 2010, you introduced your new Janome Horizon 7700 and I was smitten. I have wanted one ever since you posted about it. I have haunted our local dealers, tried it out and that just made me want one more, so I started saving where I could, and two days ago I finally purchased one. She won't be here for about 3 weeks but they let me, actually they insisted that I bring the store model home to use until my new one arrives. She is a luxury I truly couldn't afford but now don't know how I would manage without her. Now...I must apologize to you because I had forgotten that you named yours Hazel. I also named mine Hazel for a very special reason. That was my grandmothers name, who I was very close to. Sewing and handwork always had a place in my life and she constantly chided me for sewing on Sundays. She always told me "Every stitch you take on Sundays, you will have to unpick with your nose when you get to Heaven"!!! Where she got that I don't know, but I'm going to be very busy and have a very sore nose in the here after, LOL. So, that is why my new machine, certainly the last I will ever buy had to be her namesake. I've been wandering through your blog and oh how I have missed seeing your wonderful projects. Sending big hugs, Nancy

  8. Hi again Peg, I forgot to tell you how lovely your journal cover is! The fabrics are so elegant and I also love Cottage Garden Threads. Also, I wanted to leave you the link to my Flicker page. I don't have a lot on there, but I'm hoping this will be a big year for me finishing up some long overdue projects as well as some new ones. It's the only way I can share my projects since I can't do a blog. The link is ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/stitched_with_prayer/ . Hugs...

  19. Peg--- I love your journal covers. How do you make them? Can you show the 'inside'? How do they hold the journal notebook? Can you do a tutorial on this? Your stitching is lovely!
