New Year's Day is every man's birthday.
And even more wonderful goodies for me…..this is my SSCS gift…how gorgeous are these, Christmas table topper with matching coaster, and these were made for me by Sue….I love them Sue thank you so much, we set them up on our outside bar, they looked fantastic, the fabrics are fantastic…. ….now to my wonderful friend Chooky, SSCS is the reason I started to blog, to join up, one of the rules was you had to have a blog…..I love this lady, she is now one of my closest friends….mwah to both Sue and Chooky…

FIS…our online stitching group…this year we did our annual SS Christmas swap with an advent theme……which was 6 gifts to be opened from the 20th…I showed the first three gifts that I received from my gorgeous very generous SS Bec last week….and these are the last of my gifts……how fantastic are they…..just check out my table runner……I must admit Bec you floored me…I love the design, the fabric is gorgeous….I was totally spoilt…and the selection of smellies was part of my final gift with the runner…….I hope you received the big hug and kisses I sent your way on Christmas day Bec ….xxxxxx

Boxing day…….
This arrangement was given to me my a very special friend and this was the centrepiece of our main table yesterday morning for our family breakfast –

Our day started early 5am…we had 29 of my DH’s family for breakfast….10 were missing….lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes, muffins, bacon, egg, sausages, tomatoes, toast, fruit juices, flavoured milks, tea and coffee……everyone was very happy when they left…
My poor old Mum was not well, so our lunch plans changed a little, but, the baked dinner was still on…..it was just later into the evening, but all good…
I hope you all had the most perfect day …and those celebrating today…enjoy…..

Fat quarter…and there is still one more parcel to open on Christmas day…
There is a story….two weeks ago I sent these off to my 6 Items Swap Partner Jenny…..they did have a little way to travel but only to QLD…
after 10 days…..there were a few emails…. has it arrived? …no….I was beginning to think the parcel may have been lost…we had all checked with the PO…nothing…………..
it was now 15 days since I had sent the parcel…and guess what.. Tuesday it rocked up on Jen’s door…..(I could not have asked for a better day for the parcel to arrive as Jen did need a little cheering up, if you have been reading Jens blog you will know why…)..
So…these are the goodies I had made ……
