A bit of prep….and roasting nuts….

“My Garden” by Lynette Anderson….I have one block ready to stich….

and guess what else I have done…..I have also roasted some nuts, I will  add how I make these to my recipe page, very simple…they are just so nice…

Perfect day today for sewing…overcast, DH at work, music on, heater on, cup of tea…..what else could I ask for….one thing, I hope you all get to do the same….

  1. I love the smell of nuts roasting-yum- I see that you have walnuts and brazil nuts in your mix! Your fabrics look even better (if that is possible) laid out like that.

  5. Those fabrics and pattern are absolutely to die for....went and checked them out - sooooo tempted. Hope its Bon Jovi you're rocking to Peg - he really is quite conducive to quilting :)

  11. I saw the finished quilt at the QEQC here in The Netherlands. It is a beautiful quilt and I was really tempted....but thinking about all the unfinished objects in my stash, I settled for a smaller item by Lynette. I look forward to seeing your result! Have fun and those nuts look amazing!
