This was another of the lost and found tops…..and this one is the oldest ….I made this top when I first started buttonhole appliqué (10  plus years ago).. ..all the hearts have been appliquéd…the background is just homespun which I had tea dyed…..(the fabric is a little stiff LOL…)…..but I am, going to finish it off………

Happy Tuesday

Take care Peg….:>)…

Some days there won't be a song in your heart.  Sing anyway.

  2. Good on you, Peg! 10 years old is impressive. I'm just amazed that so many have been put away and forgotten!! I bet you've saved yourself a fortune by quilting them yourself though!

  3. Peg, it really is amazing what we can find from our past and discover whether our tastes have changed or not. It's a dear wee flimsy, good on you for going to finish it. Now if yoyu don't want to use fabric softner to get that homespun a little kinder throw in a couple of cups of white vinigar in the rinsing water and dry on the line.
    Just a thought.

  13. Hi Peg! What a beautiful quilt top. You are really going to town getting things finished up. Me...I'm trying to find a mug rug pattern, LOL. I've been seeing them everywhere and just loving them. I will be getting in touch with you soon (I hope, I've been a bit under the weather for a while) about our swap. Hugs...

Soon I'll finish the binding on 2 and will post a picture on my blog.
