I listened to one of Jackie's podcasts (which was so fantastic thanks Jackie) recently and she was chatting to Marie Bostwick the writer of these books….the story line sounded so good I just had to get a copy …these have just arrived from the Book Depository…..so I was just wondering who else has read these and what do you think…

  1. I got the first book from the local library and it was great. I loved it.
I found out about Marie the same way you did, it was a great interview.
I also managed to find a copy of her very first book "Fields of gold" on Ebay at a fantastic price.
I am happy to "LOAN" it to you if you ever want to borrow.

  10. Hi Peg... I just love the story in Marie Boswick books... There is a third one out and I do not remember the title because I read it some time ago and I passed it on to my friends.... I can't wait to get the next one... :)

  11. I had Marie on my blog too, she writes great books for quilters.

I have a pounce pad but I haven't tried it yet. I think I'll copy you and use it on a smaller quilt. Thanks for the idea!

  12. I have read "A Thread of Truth" and just ordered the other one. They are great stories that show how quilting and friendship help women through times of crisis. They also have a great example of how to use a rotary cutter for self-defense : )

    Hope you enjoy them.
