Tuesday Treasures……hosted by Clare….this is my very first watch…this was my Christmas gift when I was about 7 or 8 and I am sure it was big on me then, as you never purchased anything that was the right size, everything you got back then you had to grow into…….LOL…the watch face is 1/2 inch…The brand is “White Star”?????….and the band measure 5 1/2 inches….I do remember I was not to get a watch until I could tell the time…..I wonder what everyone has on show today……

ReplyDeleteOh Peg! Your watch has the exact same band and opening as my first watch. Cue flood of memories. I think my watch had a round face and was a different brand. I've got it somewhere. I'll have to go look. Treasure Tuesday sounds fun.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful watch! I love the little "claws" that attach the band onto the watch face. White Star is a Swiss watch company. If you send a picture of your watch, along with the date you got it, in french (use google translator) to these people-

ReplyDeletelol Peggy I also was told you can't get a watch until you can tell the time. I just couldn't understand how I was going to learn without a watch lol.
