LOL. I did that to and didn't realise it until I had posted my finish, what a hoot! So far I haven't done the 'Upick' and you know what? I just might not either as what the heck - both of our blocks look good. hugs Miche'le
I think it looks perfect as an idividual block. What do you think it will look like overall when in the quilt? Personally, I love it and would leave it. (smile)
LOL, fancy that! At least you are not alone Peg! I honestly don't think it would change the overall look of the quilt that much, not so that 99.9% of peoplw would notice. Before you decide I would suggest having a look at the neighbouring blocks to see if leaving it like this will be a potential problem. Looks lovely!
I vote leave it as well! Now if it was the wrong way around and upside down, that would have been a completely different scenario. Looks great to me :)
Peg, your Gardner's Journal quilt is just amazing! Beautiful work!
I think if it were me, I'd switch the pieces back and put the top on top and the bottom on bottom -- but that is just me. You do what makes you happy with the project in the end.
Peg be a devil and leave it that way... Looks fine to me.....

ReplyDeleteeventually you are going to have a border on the bottom so now it just looks a bit naked :)
ReplyDeleteAs a non GJ girl, I wouldn't have known...think I would leave it also.
ReplyDeleteJane.
Only if you want to!
ReplyDeleteAs I am a failure at following patterns, I probably would not even notice one that chose a different arrangement.
Looks fabulous.

I vote leave it! Suzi-q has the answer.
ReplyDeleteDon't think it's going to really matter. The colours of your fabrics are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLeave it Peg! Makes yours an individual.....
