Tuesday Treasures (I know it is Wednesday) I am a day late….Clare is hosting this fun little event…this is going to stir up lots of memories I think…. thanks Clare……..So this is my first little treasure…..Her name is “Cupid” and she was given to my by my Great Grandma Hawley when I was born so this little girl is over 52 years old…….My great grandma passed away when I was still very little, so I do not remember her at all…..just check out her poor little fingers, I must have been a little hungry one day….LOL…and her grubby little hands……….so this is the first of my treasures…..why not pop over and sign up with Clare …..IMG_4023

I loved your clam shells setting in your previous post. May I ask what is going to become, just wondering....

  2. What a cute little doll with chewed fingers ;-)
When I read on Aussie blogs that it was COLD I thought it would be relatively cold at at least 12 C for we never experienced lower temps in NSW. Now I can see from your photos that it is really cold. Unblievable. The world is changing upside down.

  5. Oh Peg, what a memory! I have two of these dolls. They are actually at my mother's house and I really must rescue them. I don't know who gave them to me but they have been around for as long as I can remember. They really are special. Thanks for sharing and reminding me.

  11. When I read of Tuesday Treasures I immediately thought of my Golly. I will share next week. It is amazing how many of us have valued a doll among our prized possessions. Your cupid is obviously much loved. We have also been getting the huge frosts here. Hopefully it will warm up a bit soon.

Also, I have posted my OPAM finishes in my sidebar. My computer screen has died, so I can't access my email to send to you.
