Tuesday Treasures (I know it is Wednesday) I am a day late….Clare is hosting this fun little event…this is going to stir up lots of memories I think…. thanks Clare……..So this is my first little treasure…..Her name is “Cupid” and she was given to my by my Great Grandma Hawley when I was born so this little girl is over 52 years old…….My great grandma passed away when I was still very little, so I do not remember her at all…..just check out her poor little fingers, I must have been a little hungry one day….LOL…and her grubby little hands……….so this is the first of my treasures…..why not pop over and sign up with Clare …..
It has been so cold…..this is what has been greeting me the past few mornings…..”frost” and they have been huge……bring on the heat……

ReplyDeleteWhen I read on Aussie blogs that it was COLD I thought it would be relatively cold at at least 12 C for we never experienced lower temps in NSW. Now I can see from your photos that it is really cold. Unblievable. The world is changing upside down.

Oh Peg, what a memory! I have two of these dolls. They are actually at my mother's house and I really must rescue them. I don't know who gave them to me but they have been around for as long as I can remember. They really are special. Thanks for sharing and reminding me.

ReplyDeleteWhen I read of Tuesday Treasures I immediately thought of my Golly. I will share next week. It is amazing how many of us have valued a doll among our prized possessions. Your cupid is obviously much loved. We have also been getting the huge frosts here. Hopefully it will warm up a bit soon.
