On Good Friday my son Josh and his girlfriend Teen came over for lunch, Teen loves black and white, so I decided to make her a little gift, a covered journal and a couple of pot holders….I just had to add just a touch of red….
Last day of our four days off and I have done so much sewing lots of show and tell…my DH has been working so it has been a perfect way to spend a few days in the sewing room….

and I am also working on the Gardener's Journal blocks--got one finished earlier today--I had started mine a year ago==but somehow they were put on a back burner and then all of you "popped" up doing them and I had been wanting to get back to them so badly--so I just bite the bullet and got them out and finished another one--thanks!!

Fabulous journal cover and pot holders...black and white looks fantastic together, then you throw a bit of red in and it gives it that much more! I am sure Teen would have been thrilled with her gifts.
