On Good Friday my son Josh and his girlfriend Teen came over for lunch, Teen loves black and white, so I decided to make her a little gift, a covered journal and a couple of pot holders….I just had to add just a touch of red….

Last day of our four days off and I have done so much sewing lots of show and tell…my DH has been working so it has been a perfect way to spend a few days in the sewing room….

Take care Peg…..:>)…..

Love the gifty's you made--how sweet!
and I am also working on the Gardener's Journal blocks--got one finished earlier today--I had started mine a year ago==but somehow they were put on a back burner and then all of you "popped" up doing them and I had been wanting to get back to them so badly--so I just bite the bullet and got them out and finished another one--thanks!!

The pot holders look great. What did you put inside them for the heat? Loved the book cover. Anyone's pattern or is it your own?
