Club Quilt are having a paper bag swap with The Patch a quilting group in WA…..Sue and I have been talking about this for quite a while…. we have 13 ladies participating…..lots of emails have been going back and forward…we had to send our partner 2 FQ’s in a floral and 1 in a plain, and some embellishments - you are able to add some bits from your own stash, and then what you have to do is to make a gift for your partner and send it back …..in the parcel you also had to add a packet of your favourite lollies and a small gift…..the top photo is what my partner Gloria sent to me (the soap is lovely and so are the lollies thanks Gloria) and below is what I sent to Gloria…(excluding my gift and some yummy black things) can’t say anymore as Gloria hasn’t received my parcel yet, I did send it off over a week ago…(that's Australia post for you)
and tomorrow I am heading off to Nundle for GDITC…and I am going to catch up again with some of these beautiful ladies plus a few newies…..the past few weeks I have been doing countdown of sleeps (that is my job) …..to 24 gorgeous bloggers…and tomorrow we all meet….how exciting is that….this year we are so lucky to have the amazing Anni Downs from Hatch and Patched teach for the day….and the organizer of GDITC is nun other than the awesome Kerry Swain from Cottage On The Hill..
